Silent Disco Movie Night

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The premise of Silent Disco Movie Night was to use a headset transmitter system to show three different movies at once, but without all the commotion. Kids could listen to the movie they preferred by switching their headset to the ‘color’, or channel that was playing the audio for their preferred movie. Through the blue channel we played Moana, through the red channel we played The Greatest Showman, and through the green channel we played Encanto. In addition, kids put together and baked their own pizzas during the movies.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

It was an absolute blast! We purchased our headsets with the capability to transmit different audio channels through the headphones, and they have proven to be a great investment as they are a hit each time we use them. Showing three movies, each with exceptional soundtracks, resulted in kids quoting lines from the movies and singing all their favorite songs over each other at the top of their lungs. Our members described it as one of the best events the club has ever done. It was creative, unique, and put a new spin on a traditional movie night.
