How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Club-hosted Member Events allow staff the unique opportunity to create everlasting memories for our members and truly let them check things off their bucket list. This event, tethered hot air balloon rides on our grand lawn, did just that, as well as provide an opportunity to see a perspective of the club and grounds that no one has seen before! It resonated with multiple generations and demographics of members and let them know we can reach to the sky, to create once-in-a-lifetime events. It’s left members and staff both excited to dream up the next experience.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Many CCV Departments were involved to make this event a reality- support was received from Grounds, Communications, Building Services, Support Services, Banquets, Admin, and Operations.

Members were in awe of having a hot air balloon at the Club and positive feedback was received all around. The planning team received multiple requests for a repeat event to allow others the opportunity to experience it.
