How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

St. Andrews Country Club produces an Annual Social Calendar for its membership. The Social Calendar is planned and created each summer for the following fiscal year. All of the club’s events are put in by each department and is mailed right to the members’ homes in the summer and is also available digitally on the club’s private website. Members are prefer to plan their year out ahead of time and by knowing exactly what is happening and when which enables them to build their private calendars, schedule dinners with friends in advance, plan travel, etc.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

This idea was implemented by the Director of Communications & Member Services. It was created and reviewed by all of the department heads and put together by an external graphics company.

The members absolutely love the Social Calendar. They ask for it, and find it extremely convenient to plan their travels, trips and schedules around what is happening at the club well in advance.
