How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Breaking the language barrier between staff has built teamwork, respect, and connection.  The improvement in operations was evident as teams (both Spanish and English speaking) worked together on projects and simply helping each other.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The idea came from an employee lunch.  I asked the question, "What would you like to learn?"  All of the Spanish-speaking employees said, "ingles" and all of the English-speaking employees said "Spanish".  From there, we found an instructor and held eight weeks of classes.  During the last class, both groups combined and we held team competitions that were so fun!  The Club members thought it was wonderful that we were making the effort to build such a great culture.
