How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Traditional club governance often limits Board positions to the primary membership holder. At Saucon Valley Country Club, 89.2% of the primary membership holders are male, which posed a challenge in attempting to diversify at the Board level.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

In order to rectify this, the Club’s president, with the support of the Board, changed the By-Laws in 2016 to expand Board eligibility to include the spouses of primary membership holders.
