2019 Student Hospitality Summit

Description

The idea behind the Student Summit was simple: engage students in the club industry, while showcasing clubs amenities and offerings. We brought in Gregg Patterson, and Corinne Grimaldi to give amazing education presentations to our 300 students. The students also attended a job fair with all the clubs in the state of Nebraska. We also targeted agronomy and PGA students and offered golf education for them. We were not only able to introduce over 300 students to the club industry, but we also received some great candidates for our internship programs at the club.

Implementation

We partnered with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to make this vision come to reality. The Nebraska Chapter doesn’t have a lot of student participation, so our goal was to change that. Many of our member’s children, who are part of the University’s program, were thrilled that we were offering such a cool, informative event.
