Idea Fair
Sunday Funday
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
Sunday Funday started as a different fun dessert each Sunday. Crazy milkshakes, crazy cones, ice cream flights, BYO ice cream sandwiches were only the beginning. Popularity grew, averaging 50 covers each time, kids and families couldn't wait for the weekly email for what Sunday Funday was for the week. When members became regulars, we created a frequent funday card which gave the members 7 punches and then their eighth Sunday Funday was free!
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Once the pandemic hit, we knew we wanted to keep it going and thus Sunday Funday kits were born. The first kit was a make your own ice cream in a ziploc kit where we sold 150 of them, and members were able to drive through and pick up from the comfort and safety of their car. There has been an injectable donut hole kit complete with a plastic jelly-filled syringe and so much more! Sunday Fundays are always pop ups and are usually posted on social media only one or two days before with a sign up online.
