How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

As part of an initiative to make our golf tournaments a full experience, the tailgate member guest was born.

It gave a unique collaborative experience across all departments, and it was the most fun we had to finish off the summer and kick off college football season.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Members and their guests were encouraged to wear their alma mater gear. Staff was dressed as referees for the day. Some members drove up their classic cars to tailgate as part of the ambiance. A football throwing contests was a challenge on the 15th hole. Beer pong was set up alongside coolers of beers and a specialty Alabama Yellow Hammer cocktail. Classic tailgate foods were served right off our grill and house smoked chicken wings. Hyannisport branded cooler bags were give out as tee gifts. Our terrace was decked out in college pennants and mini footballs. Everyone who attended is still reminiscing on the event of the summer.
