Tastes of Chefs: At Home & At the Club
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
Our members have always liked supporting local businesses, and this year we wanted to put forth even more of an effort to help struggling restaurants. It not only helped restaurants that definitely needed the help, but offered our members the chance to enjoy a meal from a different restaurant in the comfort of their own home or at the club, especially during covid when members did not feel safe to go out.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Since covid began, we knew that take out was going to be a strong option for our members. Once we felt that our members were going to use the service we wanted to add something special and a chance to give back to their communities. Members were so impressed with the support factor, but the excitement that they could get one of their favorite meals from NYC without going anywhere but the club.
