Techie Tuesdays

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Techie Tuesdays are a weekly one hour class focused on a new topic each week. The program is led by an Apple Genius or Android equivalent. The program quickly developed a following of regulars and Techie Evenings were added.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

For the first series of topics we collaborated with the instructor. The instructor was able to share topics that were regularly well received and we chose those that seemed to fit our member’s needs.

As the program grew and developed regular attendees lesson topics were developed based on their suggestions and requests.

Each session was an hour long but the instructor was available for one on one questions a half hour before and after the class.
