The Carmel Pizza Truck

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The pizza truck provides an additional food service avenue that can be utilized anywhere on Carmel’s property. From weddings to “pop ups,” the pizza truck delivers food/drink upon request. Members are also invited to book the truck for private events and can select from customizable menus to make their experience unique.

The members’ response has been very exciting! They especially love seeing an email announcement about the truck on a nice day and knowing that they can finish their evening over pizza and beer outside!

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The pizza truck was purchased from an out of state vendor at a great price. On fair weather days, members enjoy unlimited pizza, salad, and beverages at a set buffet price of $18. And while members certainly enjoy the food, they also look forward to the fellowship and fun that the setting creates. Accordingly, the Club is continuing to look for ways to further utilize our truck. This winter, we added an additional access point by our pool complex to tempt swimmers, sun-bathers, and other summer guests with our savory delights.
