How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
To enhance our social media presence and streamline content creation, we hired a Social Media Coordinator and developed a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) booklet. The SOP provides clear guidelines on tone, content collection, visual standards, engagement analytics, and an equipment library, ensuring consistency across all our social media/digital platforms and alignment with the club's branding. The SOP has standardized our social media process, ensuring posts are timely, consistent, and visually aligned with our website and app. By clarifying content creation and engagement strategies, it has improved efficiency, boosted collaboration across departments, and strengthened the club’s online presence.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
We created the SOP, drawing inspiration from other country clubs and hospitality brands. Focusing on the importance of creating "FOMO" within the viewership and maintaining polished, high-quality visuals, the booklet covers key areas like tone of voice, content creation, digital templates with Canva, and scheduling through HubSpot and Meta Business Suite. It allows for a streamlined, efficient process, ensuring posts are dynamic, consistent, and timely. Members have responded positively to the improved content and timely responses. Engagement has increased, and Members appreciate the consistent voice and high-quality content.
