How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

ANCC has been making a difference in its local community for many years through the club's support of charities, non profit organizations, volunteering and the sponsorship of local youth sports. This raises the club's profile in the community and allows us to provide assistance to those less fortunate. One example is the club's support for The Yellow Ribbon Fund - a charity that helps returning service men and women injured during active service. By hosting its annual golf classic the club has helped raise over $1,000,000 over the past 10 years.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The members will often remark how proud they are to see the club's name as a sponsor or contributor to a particular cause. Giving back to the community is a core value for the club and its members, many of whom have themselves done so much to progress the well being of the country.
