The Ticket Golf program has served as a fun training tool for the dining room staff. As a team game, it has increased accountability from the staff as a whole. It also provides a measurable, fact-based tool for management to evaluate staff performance.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Scores for both front and back of house teams are tallied at the end of each evening, and the winning team is recognized in the next day's pre-shift meeting. Besides providing the opportunity for light-hearted bragging rights, it also gives the staff the option to learn more about an amenity at the heart of the larger club operation - the game of golf!
