Toddler Time

Description

As we see more young families joining the Club, we find great value in offering engaging opportunities for our littlest members. Our Childcare & Development Director hosts Toddler Time, a “Mommy & Me” style class, one Friday each month. These classes are the perfect way to connect new members with other moms and often times gets members involved in other activities and groups at the Club. Additionally, Toddler Time is a great introduction to our childcare program which in turn results in higher usage. Our moms find that this program provides a fun and safe environment for them and their toddlers to get out of the house, interact with friends and participate in unique learning opportunities.

Implementation

Toddler Time began as a way to include one of our growing demographics at the Club. We selected our large group fitness room because it is such a versatile space that can be used for the wide variety of activities we plan for Toddler Time. These classes are held on the second Friday of each month from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Moms love the consistency as well as the convenience of these classes being planned around other Club activities. For example, several of the moms now attend a morning fitness class prior to Toddler Time while others enjoy lunch with friends afterwards. This program has been successful in connecting moms as well as engaging them in other activities around the Club.
