Idea Fair
Top Workplaces
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
Our club's participation in the 'Top Workplaces' program has significantly enhanced our operations and overall dynamic. By receiving this commendation, voted for by our ENCC team members, we have seen improvements in multiple areas.
The 'Top Workplaces' program, which relies on the Energage Workplace Survey, focuses on employee engagement and satisfaction. This comprehensive and research-backed survey captures feedback provided by millions of employees at various organizations over the last 17 years.
Being recognized as a 'Top Workplace' is more than just an accolade. It provides quantifiable benefits for our club. Research shows that organizations recognized as top workplaces can expect better financial performance, outperforming the market by two to three times. Furthermore, it enhances the Club's culture, encouraging transparency, dialogue, and trust. This fosters a nurturing and supportive environment which can further inspire employee engagement.
For our club, this recognition has not only helped us improve our internal operations and culture but also solidified our reputation externally, making us more appealing to potential new members. It endorses our commitment to providing an exceptional environment for both our employees and members.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
The recognition as a Top Workplace was implemented through our active engagement with the Energage Workplace Survey, which offered all employees a voice to share their insights and feelings about our workplace environment. The process relied on the honest feedback of our staff to evaluate the club's culture, values, and management effectiveness.
Club members have expressed a sense of pride knowing they are part of an organization that values its employees highly. This pride is reflected in their satisfaction with the club's services, seeing that a happy and engaged team often translates to an enhanced member experience. The positive workplace culture has permeated through to our club's members, who reap the benefits of being served by a team that feels respected, heard, and appreciated.
