How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Without a doubt, US Military Veterans deserve all the honor! This year, we set out to gather information about ROCC Member Service in the Military. The information gathered allowed for us to honor them in a more complete, personal and thoughtful way that highlighted their stories to a large portion of our member base through email and (private) social media.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

A simple form was developed and sent to the membership at large, as well as a personal campaign to a list of members previously identified for their service. Once the information was gathered, photos, memories and quotes were used in a daily feature on Instagram during the week of Veteran's Day. At the end of the week, a special video tribute was developed and featured in the Club's weekly email. Both platforms reached thousands of ROCC Members helping to spread the honor and thanks for the special individuals and the service they selflessly contributed to our great nation!
