Virtual Escape Room

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

During quarantine we wanted to engage with the kids of Champions Run. The idea of a virtual escape room came into discussion. The idea was to offer a series of puzzles to engage kids during the quarantine period to keep them active with our youth program.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We had a master control zoom room with all of our participants. We had 4 laptops all near each other which acted as each individual room. We shared puzzles on the screen and the kids individually messaged us their answers. If they were correct we would send them a link to the NEW escape room. The goal was to get through all 4 rooms the fastest. It was such a fun and exciting way to engage the kids and have them answer tough puzzles. The members absolutely loved the idea and it has been a one of kind event for us!
