Virtual Wine Tasting Directly From Vineyards in Italy & France

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

In August 2020, GCC held a month-long Zoom event on Saturdays and Sundays featuring several vineyards in France and Italy. Members “Zoomed” with winemakers directly from their cellars on their family estate as they prepared for the most intese time of the year: Harvest and Vinification.

Members “traveled” to Bordeaux, Loire, Alsace and Lorraine in France as well as Tuscany in Italy and tasted the wine from each particular vineyard that they had picked up Curbside from the Club.

How was this idea implemented and what have been the club members' reactions?

Members had a fantastic time learning about the wines directly from the winemakers in France and Italy, and were excited to be able to travel to those destinations virtually.
