We Stand for Equality

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Much of our nation’s history has played out against the backdrop of restaurants, including the ongoing pursuit of equality. The restaurant and foodservice industry stands united against racism, discrimination, and hatred.  It has brought in top tier talent to the club industry in the state of Nebraska by hosting at clubs!

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Champions Run hosted the pro start competition for the Nebraska Restaurant Association.  It also includes food safety and management training.  Champions Run hosted the competition and a fundraiser for the educational foundation.  The competition is for culinary scholarships for up to $20,000-$30000 to a students school of choice!  Our Chef participated in the program when in high school and credited the program to his sucess and wanted to give back by bringing it to Champions Run  He was also President on the board and with his involvement he brought the event to Champions for a multi year stretch and it has brought new talent to the club industry!!
