How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

When we held this event we had recently been purchased by an independent club owner. We had a tremendous amount of new members and we were trying to introduce them to existing members. This event brought people together and created a unique bond between them, by seeing their weddings. Bonds were formed, which enhanced club relations.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

When planning this event the first year we had to make phone calls to members to describe the event and ask to borrow their wedding dresses, which was a big ask. When planning we were careful with the dresses and put together an event that honored weddings from all decades. It was beautifully done and the members were not only happy and satisfied with the event, but emotional because of all the memories that were shared. It was a beautiful event and can be done at any club to build relationships.
