From massage to mammograms, we've brought wellness on-site and to the forefront of our employee initiatives.

Keeping your employees happy isn't just about the money in their pocket. At River Oaks Country Club, we've made great strides in 2017 to include programming, events and initiatives to help round out our employee benefits package. The events keep employees aware, well and working and shows care from the leadership.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We began planning the calendar in spring of 2017 and put forth a full year of events that took place bi-monthly. We chose rewarding events like chair massage, but also built in events that made healthcare more accessible, such as on-site mammograms, flu shots, etc. There are many non-profit organizations that help to facilitate these programs at little to no costs, while added great benefit to the employees, the Club, and it's members. A well staff works best!
