How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Add flair to events with repurposed items from around your club. Not every event needs to be decorated with name-brand displays or rentals that cost thousands of dollars. Sometimes all you have to do is look around your club’s property to see what can be repurposed. Building something from scratch can be extremely expensive. Often, a little imagination and fabrication can turn scrap into something amazing.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We turned an old dish area's glass rack into a ten-foot-long oyster display for both hot and cold oyster bars, and we used a log and rock pile for a rustic focal point for a buffet. Members have praised our ability to utilize items, project materials, and scrap in a way that enhances buffets and even creates new stations.
