How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
The Houston Racquet Club is always looking for ways to improve our Communication with our employees. We implemented a new software for all of our employees, and members so they are made aware of any Club emergency situations, severe weather or disasters. Our mass notification system gets the right message to the right people at the right time from any internet connected device. Send your message from anywhere to employees and members in a matter of seconds.Our new emergency notification system will result in faster, more reliable and more efficient communication during any weather emergency. This system will send alerts of any potential safety threat to Houston Racquet Club employees and members in just two clicks. This idea has enhanced our communication by making sure the correct people receive the indicated messages at the right time. This new way of communication ensures we are all aware of important information that may keep us safe from any potential danger.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
The well-being of our employees and members is top priority. As such, we have launched a new alerting system and mobile app in 2018 to help us provide the accurate information quickly and efficiently. Our messages are sent from any internet connected device and can be sent out in a matter of seconds. It provides our members and staff a sense of security knowing that we are all informed of any important information we may need to know to stay safe. Members feel reassured that when disaster strikes, we are prepared. We have combined this new communication tool with our current employee safety training to enhance our performance and overall safety. Members appreciate that we are always looking for ways to improve our performance.
