Where Rubber Meets the Floor

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The nylon and polyester part of a black heavy duty Velcro was sized, cut, and adhered to the rubber foot pads of two exercise benches. This helped us keep the new floors looking clean because it prevented black rubber streaks on the Mondo flooring. We were also able to keep a more normal cleaning schedule instead of dedicating extra time on removing marks while saving cost on cleaning supplies.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Using Velcro as a rugged felt pad was a quick and easy fix to the challenge of keeping our floors looking the best they can. The members continue to experience that "new" feel of the facility. The Velcro is not noticeable, and the benches can be moved and used with ease without leaving any streaks.
