Wine Down Wednesdays

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

During the Pandemic we created several ideas thinking outside the box which focused on engaged our membership at a time when they may not be able to physically be at the Club. With this in mind, Wine Down Wednesdays were born! This educational mini-series features a different class each month highlighting selections of reds, whites, roses and more! We kicked off the series exploring the evolution of reds.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Using zoom as our platform, we created a class educating our membership on the evolution of Red Wine. Members pick up their tasting packages at the Club on Wednesday afternoon before logging onto the interactive zoom class. Each package consists of (4) 375 bottles of Red Wine (from light to full body), a tasting mat, zoom instructions and (2) beautiful burgundy wine glasses. The perfect setup for a wine-lover’s date night at home!
