How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

We had a magical afternoon when we went back to Hogwarts! This epic Harry Potter themed event began with all students being sorted by the magical sorting hat and making their very own wand. Students were sorted into a house with a real sorting hat, enjoyed a potions class, visited a Diagon Alley sweet store, dined at the grand buffet, enjoyed some butterbeer, and finished the afternoon with an incredible Harry Potter themed magic show!

With over 50 children in attendance for 3 hours, this has become a child and adult favorite. The adults can often use this time to enjoy a meal or a quick tennis match.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

With lots of elements to the event, it was important to have a great team working it ensuring set up and tear down were ready for all activities. The individual activities are listed on the poster but it kept our children engaged for 3 hours.

The members loooove this event and always ask when it is coming back!
