Youth Facility Mascots
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
The introduction of the Covester Crew Mascots has significantly enhanced operations at The Club at Admirals Cove by creating a fun and engaging connection for our youngest members. These colorful characters—Coral the Golfing Dolphin, Tank the Shark, Sonny the Lighthouse, and Coco & Cruiser the palm tree twins—bring the Youth Facility to life, encouraging children to interact with the club in a playful, memorable way.
Through accompanying materials like coloring books, bookmarks, and branded retail apparel, the initiative fosters a sense of belonging and excitement among families, strengthening the bond between members and the club while enhancing the youth experience.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
The initiative was implemented by designing the mascots with distinct personalities and traits to resonate with children and align with the club’s brand. These mascots were integrated across various touchpoints, including wall art in the Youth Facility, engaging activities like coloring contests, and merchandise such as bookmarks and apparel. The creative use of the mascots not only brightens the facility but also extends their presence into families’ lives, encouraging interaction beyond club visits.
Members, particularly families, have responded with enthusiasm. Children are drawn to the facility, eager to meet their favorite mascot and participate in activities. Parents appreciate the thoughtful effort to engage younger members, making the club experience more inclusive and family-oriented. The mascots have become beloved symbols of fun and creativity, enhancing the club’s reputation as a welcoming and innovative space for all ages.
