CMAA focuses on grassroots advocacy with its 6,800 members and educates them on the issues and requests their action on pertinent legislative and regulatory issues. Through clubindustryvotes.org, CMAA monitors thousands of pieces of federal and state legislation and regulation annually and activates its membership through Action Alerts. Further, CMAA works collectively with coalitions, inside and outside the club and golf industry, to affect change on issues of mutual concern.
Each of CMAA’s Chapters has Legislative Chairmen who represent the states within their geographic boundaries. CMAA provides consultation to its Chapters on handling state and local issues and supports grassroots efforts through its technology platform.
