Advisory Council service is a rewarding professional growth experience, providing members and community subscribers with opportunities to support the growth of the community.
Expectations
If you are appointed to the Advisory Council, you are usually committing to at least one year of service and will be requested to:
- Be present at required meetings, including the Communications Annual Summit. Additional meetings may be held virtually.
- Participate in conference calls and online discussions as needed.
- Prepare for all meetings by reading relevant materials in advance.
- Complete assignments such as gathering information, surveying colleagues, and making presentations.
- Respond to requests for feedback by the requested deadlines.
- Serve as a champion for the Community among colleagues and industry peers.
Eligibility
- Current Communications Community Member or Subscriber
- Have attended at least one national CMAA event (Communications Summit, CMAA World Conference, etc.)
