As a new Professional Member of CMAA, we want to make sure you understand what renewals will look like moving forward. The CMAA National membership term runs from November 1 through October 31 each year and first-year dues are prorated for those joining between April 1 and August 31.
You have these options as a new member to join CMAA:
Joining in April-July
Dues rate: You will pay the prorated National dues rate of $250 and your corresponding Chapter dues rate.
Renewal timeline: In mid-August, you will receive your second-year National dues invoice in the amount of $650 due by October 31 (the end of the membership term).
Advantage: You will pay the prorated rate, which will cover you through October 31.
Joining in August
Dues rate: You will pay the same amount as if you joined in April through July.
Renewal timeline: You will be on the same schedule of renewing your National dues by the end of October.
Advantage: You will pay the prorated rate, which will cover you for three months (August-October). And once you renew your National dues, you will receive a complimentary Education-Only registration to the upcoming World Conference & Club Business Expo valued at approximately $1,000.
Joining in September
Dues rate: You will pay the full National new member rate of $500 and your corresponding Chapter dues rate.
Renewal timeline: Your membership will not expire until next fall.
Advantage: You will essentially receive a few months of membership free of charge.
Please note: your Chapter dues renewal will be sent to you separately and may be on a different schedule from your National dues renewal.
Review your options and make your choice to join when it is right for you!
