Alexandria, VA—The Club Foundation is pleased to announce that it is restarting the Chapter Workshop Grant program to benefit Club Management Association of America (CMAA) Chapters. The program was previously available for 15 years (2000-2015) as a random lottery that awarded Chapters funds to pay for education workshops at the local level.

For FY2025, the Chapter Workshop Grant program will still focus on awarding funds to support Chapter education, but Chapters will be chosen through an online application process open to small- and medium-sized Chapters. Chapters may apply annually for the $2,500 award which will be given to as many as six Chapters in FY2025 and will be awarded based on financial need and merit of the application. The applications will be evaluated by a representative group comprised of members of both the Chapter Relations and the Professional Development Committees. Applications are due by December 15.

“We are thrilled to be able to reinvigorate this program and increase the support we provide to CMAA Chapters. Our Chapters are a key component of our mission to support the growth and development of club leaders across the nation,” said Ava Spece, Director, The Club Foundation. The Club Foundation also currently funds awards for winners of the Chapter of the Year, New Member Recruitment, and the Chapter Idea Fair programs.
