Discover New Treasures with World Conference Featured Speaker, NFL Hall of Famer and Leader Brian Dawkins

The 2025 World Conference and Club Business Expo’s robust professional development agenda offers curated information for your journey through concurrent education sessions, six featured general sessions, and optional Pre- and At-Conference Workshops. The first general session will be Wednesday, February 4, and spotlight NFL Hall of Famer and Leader, Brian Dawkins.

Brian Dawkins has achieved tremendous success on and off the football field. He excelled as a safety at Clemson University. He received first-team All-ACC Honors and second-team All-American Honors in 1995 and was inducted into the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009. In 1996, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Dawkins in the second round of NFL Draft, and he immediately cemented himself as the starting free safety. During his 13 seasons with the Eagles, Dawkins became the leader of one of the most feared defenses in the NFL, leading the team to the playoffs eight times and to the Super Bowl following the 2004 season. Dawkins’ excellence, however, transcends football. The Jacksonville, FL, native demonstrated outstanding character throughout his career, giving back in many ways to the various communities he touched.

Dawkins is one of the six featured speakers sharing their wisdom in Tampa, FL, February 5-9, 2025.

Understanding Your Credits: Allied Association Education Credits and Credit for Certification Programs

Successful participation in programs with specified Allied Associations earn Education Credits for CMAA members. These credits will count toward the “Additional Credits” requirement for certification, the Certification Maintenance Requirement, Honor Society, or MCM eligibility.

Allied Association Credits are limited to a maximum of 10 credits in a seven-day period. You can find a list of Allied Associations on our website.

Members who attend Allied Association educational programs should apply for credits by submitting a Petition for Allied Association Credits. A copy of a certificate of completion for an Allied Association program will serve in lieu of the instructor’s signature on the petition form.

CMAA also recognizes the value of hospitality-related certifications and credentials. Ten “Other Education” credits are awarded. You can find a list of applicable certifications and credentials on our website.

To submit your certification for “Other Education” Credits, please present a verification form from the granting organization (i.e. a copy of the certificate or awards letter) to the Education Department.
