Entry Details

This CMAA Orientation Lunch enables students to engage with club professionals to gain insider perspective on club industry careers. The goal is to inspire students' interest in the field by providing first-hand advice and experiences. It allows networking to build connections for internships and jobs. The event benefits students by exposing them to club operations roles and equipping them with knowledge to pursue and succeed in club management.

Implementation

By inviting 50 Hospitality freshmen and providing transportation, the chapter secured full participation at the industry exposure event. The event has two part, Panel Discussion and Professional Engagement which allowed valuable networking between students and industry professionals. The event successfully sparked interest in club management opportunities, with 30 attendees joining the CMAA chapter afterwards. This membership growth highlights its effectiveness in recruiting new students.
