Student & Faculty Chapter Idea Fair
Collaboration
Johnson & Wales University, NC, Chapter
Entry Details
Private club collaboration with a senior and/or student chapter, and/or alumni allows a sense of community that allows students to congregate around a common interest in a time where social connections are crucial.
The problem is that private clubs find it hard to connect with seniors, student chapters, or alumni in a way that is fun, engaging, and beneficial in a knowledgeable way.
Implementation
By doing a reverse scavenger hunt this allows the students to attain knowledge from club managers about how to one day run their own private club and the private club gets to have fresh new ideas about how to solve their real-world problems.
When doing the reverse scavenger hunt there will be two teams the club managers and the students. Both manager team will write down problems that they have and hide them on object while the students will write down questions or problems they would like solved on objects and hide them both teams get an item list and will look for the items written down. Afterwards they will regroup and discuss solutions for all that was written down on the papers.
