Entry Details

Industry Day was a fantastic opportunity for both students and professionals! It’s great that students were able to network directly with club managers and potentially secure internships or career advice. These kinds of events are so valuable for students looking to get their foot in the door and gain insight into their industry. Plus, it's a win for the chapter too, raising funds for future initiatives.

Implementation

The students hosted a game "hit it to win it" with lots of unique prizes on the putting green. You had to pay to play 5 dollars per shot or 20 dollars per 3 shots.  The chance to interact with club professionals on the putting green, while offering a variety of unique prizes, probably helped make the event feel both fun and rewarding. Plus, members likely appreciated that it was an innovative way to raise funds for the chapter’s future activities.
