Student-Led Fundraiser Dinner

Entry Details

For the 2023-24 academic year, the Niagara University student chapter planned and executed a masquerade themed fundraiser dinner in at The Buffalo Club. This fundraiser not only provides a large amount of our club's revenue and enables more students to attend conferences, but event experience as well. Students are in one of five committees and all assist with set up, event execution and clean up of the dinner. All of the efforts such as finding masquerade themed decor to calling and requesting donations to our auction are student led.

Implementation

At the beginning of the academic year, our chapter voted to have the masquerade theme and selected their committees. Members' enjoyed getting to expand their skills in fundraising, marketing and sponsorship along with working on such a large project together. This fundraiser is a great way to build our team within the student chapter as we all work towards this year long goal.
