Attention Student Chapters! The Student New Member Recruitment Contest is your chance to grow your Chapter and earn exclusive rewards.
How It Works
- Each chapter’s recruitment goal is determined by taking the average number of new members over the past three years and increasing it by 5 percent.
- Chapters that meet or exceed 100 percent of their goal will be recognized and rewarded!
The Reward
Chapters that achieve this milestone will receive two complimentary registrations to the CMAA World Conference and Club Business Expo—an incredible opportunity for professional growth and networking.
Contest Duration
The program runs August 1 – April 30, covering the full academic year.

How It Works
- This award honors Chapters that demonstrate excellence in leadership, engagement, and professional development.
- The program follows the student academic year, running August 1-April 30.
- One winner will be selected per size category to ensure fair recognition across all Chapters.
Exciting Rewards
The Club Foundation proudly supports the winning Chapters with five complimentary registrations to either:
- The CMAA World Conference & Club Business Expo or
- The CMAA National Student Education Conference

Winners will also be honored at the CMAA World Conference & Club Business Expo, providing an incredible opportunity for networking and professional growth.
Important Deadline
All entries must be submitted by May 15. Remember, all meeting minutes and other criteria must be turned in by April 30 to be considered. Anything submitted after that date will not be acknowledged.

How to Request Yours
Simply fill out the form to receive your stole in time for your big day. Be sure to fill out the form no later than seven business days prior to when you’ll need it. Please allow plenty of time for shipping and handling.
Become an Alumnus Member
Stay connected and advance your career with CMAA Alumnus Membership, designed for former Student Members now working in club management.
Key Benefits & Details
- Pay half the current Professional dues rate for the first two years of your membership.
- Alumnus status lasts up to two years before transitioning to Professional membership.
- Membership is individual, non-transferable, and non-refundable.
- Local Chapter dues apply; details will be provided upon application.
- Time as an Alumnus Member counts toward the CCM exam requirement.
- Alumnus Members can vote and hold office.
Renewal Info
- National memberships renew annually, with payments due by November 1.
- Chapter dues are billed separately by your local Chapter.
